Kate Marchant started her exercise classes with us in 2009. since then she has gone from strength to strength. kate has been a fitness instructor for 10 years now and previously worked at springs. She is offering classes for all ages and varied times of the day to suit people's busy lives.

Kate is qualified to be able to offer any of the styles of classes shown below
Skips and Abs - an hour class starting with 30 mins of using a combination of different skipping techniques and challenging stomach exercises. this is followed by punch perfect, a 30 minute class showing the correct way to punch and stand then, using focus pads, practice different punching combinations.
Boxercise - The best stress buster around! every class is different, the workout uses the entire body. classes are always fun, energentic and addictive.
Classes can be circuit style including skipping roples, punch bag, medicine ball, focus pads, and other general exercises. Boxercise burns calories and improves muscle tone.
Ball Class - these classes use swiss ball, or stability ball as often referred to, this is an exellent piece of equipment, which can be used by individuals at home, in a gym or by taking part in classes. this class is suitable for all levels of fitness, from beginners to advanced. this class will improve your posture, upper and lower body strength it also helps to target the stomach area by lowering abdominal fat. It's fun but challenging and falling off is a must!
Chair Exercise - these classes are designed for people who are unable to participate in normal fitness classes. they offer a gentle introduction to exercise and take the pressure of standing constantly. the workout consists of leg and arm exercises and gentle abdominal exercises.
Slimming Club - want to lose weight? or just adapt a healthy way of eating? then come along, Kate has designed these classes to suit you and your lifestyle, they are drop in sessions, but feel free to stay the hour and ask as many questions as you like!
every six weeks you will be measured, bodyfat and water levels will be taken as well as other essential factors when losing weight.
every week your weight will be checked and advice given, if needed a personal eating plan can be designed to assist you.
ABA boxing Awards - The ABA Boxing Awards is a fun recreational activity which involves teaching the basics of non contact amateur boxing, such as stance /guard and footwork also all the related punches and defences, each lesson is well structured, which includes joint mobility, 1st phase warm up and stretch, fun and games prior to the non contact boxing lesson and of course a cool down and flexibility session at the end of the session.
